Sakura Running Sushi in Cologne

It must be the first and last time that we order from here. At first glance, the sushi did not look like when you Google pictures of the sushi from the place. Unfortunately the food did not taste super fresh, there was an off-taste maki. The spring rolls and chili mayo were good enough, but unfortunately that was the only thing. We were a little sad to have paid around DKK 600 when the food did not live up to price or expectation at all (the expectation came after seeing pictures on Google). The tiger prawns on skewers had a strange floury breading and were not inviting in any way. The chicken skewer was soft, but when there is breading, you expect a bit of crispiness. It all felt like "cardboard food". In short: bad experience.

Surprisingly bad actually, got such a vegetable mix and it was filled with oil, such an absurd lot .. The king owners were baked with full shell on? As well as mating was pure flour First and last time unfortunately for a new mover.

The food was fine and they were quick to respond by asking for anything missing on the tape. However, the decor, decoration and atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired and it pulls down. A modernization of the place is needed.

even before I sat down I could see that the tapes were more empty than full. Seated for 15 minutes without any more sushi or hot dishes. Had deliberately not ordered drinks and after 20 minutes we left again.

Okay sushi that tastes great. But expensive compared to the standard of sushi.

Sweet and helpful waiters, lovely food and at a good price. We often come there with our daughter of 4 years. They have made child chopsticks so they can practice. Our daughter loves it!

Super delicious food, ordered their menu box 2, with 30 pieces in, everything tastes wonderfully fresh, it was made wonderfully fast and the staff were incredibly happy and fresh: D

Very pleasantly surprised Pleasant waiter, sweet and smiling Sushi with a nice taste I was a little skeptical about whether it was freshly made, it was nicely fresh and the heat was nicely crispy First time I try running sushi but certainly not last Big plus they had Japanese beer, I got a nice cold Sapporo lager

Sushi ?

They took full price for children under 12 years, although they both advertise with half price, and by phone confirmed this. ?So ... The girls' trip alone to the restaurant, was twice as expensive. It's not okay. UPDATE! Upon inquiry, the restaurant apologized for this misunderstanding, and refunded the difference. ? And the girls think the food was really good ?

I'm glad that I experienced my first time having sushi at this place. The personnel was polite and warming, and the food even though it seemed really weird, it was absolutely delicious. Definetly enlightened my vacancy in Denmark :) I'm looking forward to revisit this place

The sushi is really good, delicious and fresh. Unfortunately, the restaurant is very small and it pulls in through the door, almost equally wherever you are. The staff seems confused and distracted.

Very nice place! I'm not much of a sushi coneseur, but I think the food there is great. The running sushi option is very good, and it's rare that you miss a certain dish you really want. Also it's actually pretty fairly priced, I recommend going there with your kids as well, let them try something good and different!
